It’s our second day at the Bay Area Maker Faire, and already we’re ecstatic over the people and enthusiasm we’ve met! Thank you to all who stopped by to play yesterday and expressed interest in owning a little piece of Bushwaffle for yourself. If you didn’t get to sign up on our paper mailing list, you can do so here and we’ll send you updates on where to find Bushwaffle when they become available for purchase. If you’re interested in renting Bushwaffle for your next party, let us know! Rebar can help you plan it.

Good news! Bushwaffle will be participating in the Maker Faire Bay Area 2009 this year, May 30 and 31st at the San Mateo fairgrounds.
Rebar and friends will be escorting Bushwaffle for your transformative enjoyment. We’ll have a nice grassy outdoor spot, some fun flyers and pins, about 40 Bushwaffle and plenty of hot pink strap, so come ready to shape the experience and build whatever strikes your fancy: sun shade, rain shelter, bouncy bowl or rolling dome, or better yet, some configuration we’ve never seen.
Sure, you’re pumped to visit Bushwaffle wherever they go. But what’s the rest of the Maker Fair about? Hosted by Make Magazine, it’s often called simply the “ultimate DIY festival,” but we like how it brings together a mass of incredibly talented, passionate creators. So inspiring, and so lively a bunch, all in one place make for a truly remarkable day. We’ll be in good company with the likes of kinetic sculptor Reuben Margolin, who’s showing his Soda Bottle Wave, and other infamous projects like the Life Size Mousetrap.
Come ready to put your hands to work!
